About me

A cardiologist by training, approachable by nature

I am Dr Ydelise Mercedes Rodríguez Pichardo, consultant and interventional cardiologist. I graduated in Medicine with honours and trained as a cardiology specialist at Hospital Universitari i Politècnic La Fe in Valencia, one of Spain's leading reference hospitals, where I then completed two further years of subspecialty training in haemodynamics and interventional cardiology.

I hold the Spanish Society of Cardiology (SEC) and European accreditations in interventional cardiology and haemodynamics, and since 2018 I have led the Haemodynamics Unit at Dénia Hospital. Treating the heart "from the inside" gives me a complete perspective that I bring to every consultation.

Behind every ECG there is a person. My work always begins with listening to them.

My private practice is devoted to clinical cardiology: diagnosis, treatment, prevention and follow-up, with enough time to explain things clearly and answer all of your questions. Consultations are available in English and Spanish.
